Scott's Story

Helping You Move Forward

A native of Derry, New Hampshire, Cullen found his way to Division 2 Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. A four year member of the soccer program, as a goalkeeper Cullen was ranked third in the nation in 2010 for saves and save percentage. He earned his bachelor of science in Exercise Science.

After his playing career, Cullen coached at his alma mater as an assistant to both the men’s and women’s programs. In 2014, he moved to Pennsylvania where he started the Northampton Community College women's soccer program.

After four seasons, with an overall record of 18-29-2, a 2017 conference championship, and making the region tournament, Cullen was named EPAC coach of the year in 2017. In 2018, he focused on youth soccer in the Lehigh Valley. Scott and Brandon began coaching FC Steel Boys together.

After winning several tournaments with boys’ teams ranging from under 10 to under 13 year olds with FC Steel, Scott worked with girls U13-U17 in the Spring, Brandon moved back to Virginia to work with Virginia Beach City FC.

Scotts teams were Finalists for the U13 Girls and Semi Finalists with U15 girls EDP Spring Showacase. U14 girls EDP season went Undefeated. "Being able to express the game to young players, to help motivate them for their future, that is what I love to do!"

Cullen and Chambers formed New Wave Training to provide personal training for goalkeepers and field players that are looking to put in that extra work.

Scott currently is the Assistant Coach for the Whitehall girls soccer team and resides in Northampton, Pennsylvania with his wife Kayla, sons Mason and Travis and dog Kona.
